 CONTRACT - AGREEMENT & MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
  1. I hereby voluntarily agree to participate in the CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks season, including, but not limited to, CMG Los Angeles Fashion Week, CMG Asia Fashion Week, CMG New York Fashion Week, CMG Paris Fashion Week, CMG Dubai Fashion Week Tour, New Year's Eve with Cupani, CMG Worldwide Retreats, and all related preparatory meetings, training sessions, photoshoots, rehearsals, tours, post-event activities, promotional appearances, and affiliated programs (collectively referred to herein as the "CMG Event"). I acknowledge that the CMG Event is organized and produced by Dr. Lacie Cupani, Founder of Cupani Fashion LLC / Cupani Marketing Group (CMG) (hereinafter referred to as the "Founder/Company"), including its successors, affiliates, licensees, agents, producers, contractors, employees, representatives, sponsors, and other authorized third parties.
  2. I further understand that the CMG Event provides a premier platform for both amateur and professional participants—including, but not limited to, fashion designers, models, hairstylists, makeup artists, photographers, entertainers, and other creative professionals—to showcase their talents, expand their professional networks, and pursue opportunities within the international fashion, modeling, beauty, and entertainment industries.
  3.  I acknowledge and agree that my participation in the CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks Event in New York, Los Angeles, London, Dubai, and Paris is voluntary and that I am donating my time, services, talent, and efforts. I further acknowledge that I am not entitled to any wages, salary, reimbursement, employment benefits, or other monetary compensation from the Producer, the Founder/Company, or the CMG Event for my participation unless otherwise expressly agreed to in writing. I understand that I am voluntarily contributing my time and efforts for my own professional development and potential career advancement, including, but not limited to, portfolio enhancement, industry experience, networking opportunities, personal branding, marketing, publicity, promotional exposure, and participation in fashion-related events and activities offered by the Producer, the Founder/Company, and the CMG Event. I further understand that participation in CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks may provide opportunities for my work, image, name, brand, or performances to be featured in connection with CMG events and related promotional activities in major international fashion destinations, including, but not limited to, New York, Los Angeles, London, Dubai, and Paris. Such opportunities may include media and press coverage, magazine features, social media promotion, advertising, interviews, portfolio development, industry networking, and other forms of national and international exposure. I acknowledge that while the Producer and the Founder/Company strive to provide valuable promotional and networking opportunities, no guarantees or representations are made regarding employment, modeling contracts, designer contracts, sponsorships, endorsements, media coverage, financial gain, bookings, business opportunities, or any specific professional or commercial outcome resulting from my participation. By voluntarily participating in the CMG Event, I understand that I am positioning myself and my brand for potential visibility within the fashion, beauty, modeling, and entertainment industries and that any resulting opportunities will depend upon numerous factors beyond the control of the Producer or the Founder/Company.
  4. I understand that the Most Outstanding Designer/Brand and the Top Ten (10) Models, as determined by the CMG Event's official selection process, may be selected for additional marketing, promotional, branding, and publicity opportunities at the national and international levels. I further acknowledge that such opportunities are offered at the sole discretion of the Producer and the Founder/Company and do not guarantee future employment, commercial engagements, endorsements, or other professional opportunities.
  5. Selection of LINE 101 Winners and CMG Travel Awards

This may include features in CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks events held in major international fashion cities, including but not limited to New York, Los Angeles, London, Dubai, and Paris. I acknowledge that participation may provide opportunities for national and international exposure, including media coverage, press features, magazine publications, social media promotion, advertising campaigns, and networking opportunities within the fashion, modeling, beauty, and entertainment industries. Participation in CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks provides registered participants with access to promotional and branding opportunities designed to enhance visibility within the fashion, beauty, modeling, and entertainment industries. These opportunities may include exposure to industry professionals such as buyers, influencers, media representatives, celebrities, and other invited guests. Participants acknowledge that similar fashion events may involve significant production and marketing expenditures by major fashion houses; however, CMG offers a structured platform intended to provide promotional exposure and event participation opportunities within an organized fashion showcase environment. Any references to media value or comparative industry costs are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute guarantees of equivalent financial valuation or commercial return. CMG makes no representations or guarantees regarding specific levels of exposure, media coverage, commercial success, or professional advancement resulting from participation.

29. Suitability and Participation Considerations
Participation in CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks is intended for designers, models, hairstylists, makeup artists, photographers, entertainers, and other creative professionals seeking industry exposure and experiential opportunities within the fashion and entertainment sectors.
For emerging professionals, participation may serve as an introductory platform to gain experience and visibility. For established professionals and brands, it may provide an opportunity to expand audience reach and engage with new markets.
CMG Worldwide Fashion Weeks may offer participants opportunities to:
  • Showcase creative work before an international audience, including media representatives and industry professionals;
  • Enhance brand recognition and digital visibility; and
  • Receive organizational support and guidance throughout the event process.
Participation is voluntary and should be considered a professional development and promotional opportunity. Individuals seeking growth, exposure, and networking within the fashion and beauty industries may find CMG events to be a suitable platform for showcasing their work.

The Cost of Producing a Fashion Show – A Realistic Perspective
Producing a runway show, particularly during internationally recognized fashion weeks such as New York Fashion Week, represents a significant financial investment. Depending on scale, production requirements, venue selection, model bookings, marketing, and related services, overall costs may range from approximately $20,000 to over $500,000 or more. While such production budgets may be beyond the reach of many independent designers and creatives, CMG provides a collaborative and resource-efficient platform designed to support participation through shared production structures, strategic partnerships, and coordinated promotional efforts. This approach allows participants to benefit from increased visibility and industry access while reducing individual production burdens. Sponsorships, collaborations, and shared costs may further contribute to making participation more accessible. Notwithstanding these efficiencies, participants are encouraged to continue investing in their own brands, marketing initiatives, and long-term visibility strategies in order to remain competitive within the global fashion industry.

Why Professionals Continue to Participate
Despite the substantial costs associated with traditional fashion show production, industry professionals continue to participate in fashion week events due to the significant value of global exposure and brand positioning.
Showcasing collections or creative work in front of an international audience—including media representatives, buyers, influencers, and industry professionals—can generate long-term brand recognition and media engagement that often exceeds the impact of conventional advertising campaigns.
Participation in such events may provide access to:
  • Media coverage that would otherwise require substantial advertising investment;
  • Direct engagement with potential collaborators, clients, and industry stakeholders; and
  • Opportunities to build a professional portfolio featured across fashion publications, digital media platforms, and industry channels.
Media exposure generated through fashion week participation can carry significant promotional value. Unlike traditional advertising placements, which are typically limited in duration and reach, editorial and event-based coverage may continue to circulate across multiple platforms, contributing to sustained visibility over time.
