Ms. Jocelyn Nguyen Bullock grew up in a family of six in the remote countryside of Vietnam, facing significant financial hardship. Her father made the difficult decision to send her abroad in search of a better life. Jocelyn ultimately found herself in a refugee camp known as Pulau Bidong in Malaysia, where she endured harsh conditions. Despite these challenges, she discovered her passion for art and developed skills in painting, drawing, and embroidery.
Over the years, Jocelyn contributed extensively to the camp by teaching embroidery and other skills. Her dedication led to her immigration to the United States, often referred to as the "Land of Promise." In the U.S., she worked in a factory in Hoboken, New Jersey, sewing hair bows, clothes, and ties after school. Jocelyn diligently saved money with the goal of bringing her parents and three sisters to America for a better life.
Jocelyn's talent in fashion design flourished as she created various dress styles reflecting her emotions and experiences. She achieved international recognition, being named an Elegant Designer in Mazatlán, Mexico in 2022 and receiving accolades in London, England for her grace and discerning style. Her work has been featured in numerous fashion magazines, on Fashion TV, and at New York Fashion Week. Additionally, she has made appearances in several films.
Her fashion line, Raven Empire, operates under the Dragon Entertainment Company. The name "Raven" was inspired by her husband's action film, symbolizing strength and beauty. "Empire" represents the universality of her collection, resonating with people around the world. Jocelyn is deeply grateful for the opportunity to create beautiful dresses and is profoundly touched by the support and love she has received. This journey has been a heartfelt and rewarding experience, filled with blessings and joy.

Inés Maldonado, NY, USA
Inés Maldonado was born in New York City, where she was immersed in a rich cultural heritage from the Caribbean Islands. As the daughter of a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father, her strong cultural background fostered a deep passion for dance and a sense of freedom in her movements. She began dancing at family reunions at the age of four.
In October 2013, Inés was introduced to Salsa ON2 by her instructor, Jesus Nieves. During this time, she adeptly balanced the responsibilities of raising two young sons while managing Type 1 Diabetes, a condition she has lived with since she was 15. By 2016, Inés joined the Lehigh Valley Salsa Social at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA, and soon seized the opportunity to take ownership of the organization. Under her leadership, she has emerged as a prominent Latin Dance Instructor in the Lehigh Valley.
Currently, Inés serves as the director, owner, instructor, and DJ of Lehigh Valley Salsa Social, a Latin dance studio and event organizer based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Her commitment to Latin dance is reflected in her work with students of all levels, from beginners to intermediates. She specializes in Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue, and provides performance opportunities for those wishing to showcase their skills.
For over a decade, Inés has curated memorable dance experiences, spinning top Salsa classics, Bachata, Merengue, and Cumbia. She is dedicated to creating an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere for her students, ensuring they leave with a smile. Irina shared that she has primarily been a stay-at-home mom since 2019, caring for her youngest son. During this period, she sought to channel her creativity productively. The pandemic served as a significant catalyst for her decision to pursue her passion for creative design. Initially focusing on large floral arrangements, she later expanded her expertise to include various types of wings. Over the past three years, Irina has continually refined her skills, leading to a growing demand for her products and an expanding range of offerings.
Each handcrafted item embodies Irina's personal touch, resulting in a profound sense of satisfaction and positive feedback. Mr. Moran, known as "the mime who doesn’t speak," has dedicated over five years to volunteering with the nonprofit Rilyc Community & Arts, where he teaches, guides, and coaches youth. His program focuses on helping inner-city youth reach beyond their neighborhoods through the art of miming. Gavin Harper, a 22-year-old singer and songwriter from Conway, Arkansas, is known for his versatility across multiple musical genres.
